There's a lot more art where I was trying to hint, but some of them were TOO subtle, in hindsight.

Case in point, this image. My goal was hoping people noted how minorly unimpressed Miko looks despite Pan's happiness

Sachiko is THE biological mother to Yukina. Looks like most of her genes made it to the girl compared to the male, Ascendant donor. She even inherited a cowlick

Yukina has a MUCH stronger bond with Sachiko than Miko. Because of Miko's absence for a while, it was just Sachiko raising Yukina (with help from Nozomi and her family). That's why you see such a different interaction between them as opposed to the pieces with Yuki and Miko

So, even in documents, Yukina is literally listed as "Yukina, Daughter of Sachiko." Kinda funnily worded but it was a big deal at the time! But, sadly, Miko showed her face first in the modern era instead. I EVEN GLARED OUT SACHIKO FROM THE PIC WTF
