This is one of many beaches depicted by Frances. She uses simple textures, a scrape across the sky to suggest clouds, dabbled blobs of yellow give a flourish of wildflowers to the grassy hills.

Grampian Hospitals Art Trust are sad to hear of the death of artist Alexander ‘Sandy’ Fraser.

The images are of large oil paintings from the GHAT Art Collection (roughly 2m x 2m) titled Guild Street No. 4 & Guild Street No. 8.
