The dynamic between these two is really fun in my head. I want to draw more of them together!

So @Paddy_Pawz challenged me to take an old OC and redraw them. My first ever fursona was a shameless Neku ripoff, fresh out of 2008.

It's a bit of a nostalgia rush digging into this stuff! I had a lot of fun putting this together

I was really in the mood for some bara tiddy

So I drew a back pose instead for absolutely no reason

I listened to uplifting anime music the entire time I drew this

Because I guess even when I'm being edgy it's meant to be cathartic

Rendering a cartoony design with superfluous realism is almost exclusively done for a comedic or uncanny effect. Because it looks hideous.

Pokemon designs are appealing in their simplicity. Deliberating adding a bunch of realistic bump maps and gritty textures misses the point.

Rewatching Attack on Titan S3 in Japanese. I recognized Flegel's voice - it's freaking Yuma from Zexal.

I guess it's only natural that I'd notice after watching god knows how many episodes of Yugioh, but I'm still proud of myself
