2021: A few thousand art education modules, thrown out shitty drawings, existential crises, and a broken tablet later, we get to the present day. Still about 1/1000th of the way to where I want to be, but pretty proud of what I've learned. Here's to leveling up!!
2018. I bought a tablet monitor and that changed EVERYTHING. Suddenly I can do "paintings" in addition to "drawings". I'm still just doodling around here though, not trying to learn ART PRINCIPLES or anything of the sort. (cont'd)
2017. I decided I was going to get better at art by doing what I did in highschool: getting a sketchbook and drawing D&D STUFF. I was playing this badass character in this awesome campaign with my friends at Ubisoft Halifax, so obviously I drew her. (cont'd)
Another one for #dndartists:
A few years ago I was a 3d artist in games, but I realized I really wanted to be a 2d artist. My drawing skill level was "the best artist in my highschool and I haven't practiced since then". I redraw this character every year since then. (cont'd)
hello fellow #dndartists
here are some arts I've done of my friends' characters in my homebrew setting
@MischiArt It's so nice to find someone else who started late! Here's my mid 20s art vs my mid 30s art
@GabeJamesGames Hi, I'm Trez! Would love to do some art for you. Depending on complexity, full body flat colour starts at 120. 🙂
@KP11Studios I am a couple hundred away from 1000 on the bird app, I am a video game developer who paints W I Z A R D S and shares dank leftist and Morrowind memes
@czepekumaps I do art for indie TTRPG sourcebooks and would love to do some for yours!
