@hockey_samurai I wondered if North Stars took a page out of Charlie O. Finley's green/gold KC A's brand playbook or vice versa? Or was it coincidence? Let's face it green and gold might be the most popular HS sports color combo ever? https://t.co/DqjH0XbaZg https://t.co/2jLvQcsqHd
@ToddRadom @Buddha3838 @conradburry @PelicansNBA @PelicansNOW @lockedonpels @thepelicanswave @PhilHecken @NBA Really loved your exploratory designs, Todd! No heavy handed creative brief, no steering committee, not even much interference from me (so rare, lol)… just make it NOLA relevant, extendable and memorable. And competing with this guy was going to be tough, he had a great run! 😊
@AZSportsHistory @TruColorNet It was designed in early 1994 and honestly, vector "craftsmenship" was still in its' infancy really... some of the traps leave a bit to be desired as well. LOL.
@NFL @Commanders @sportslogosnet @UniWatch Our agency worked with Daniel Snyder and Mike Stevens who requested our agency take the current @redskins identity and incorporate black into the program. 2/2
@Cory_Lawrence @NFL @sportslogosnet @PhilHecken @UniWatch I miss it as well. Somehow the @MiamiDolphins
and @NikeNFL took a wonderfully animated logo with real personality and stripped it down to aquarium signage, generic and lifeless. Fumble.
Minnesota 1994 @NBAAllStar Game logo outtakes. There are hundreds of such ideas in the NBA Creative Services archives. Such a great time to be a designer.
