In Rhenge, I wanted my new playable races to represent the two fundamental facets of Rhenge: nature and civilization. One, the Riven, are ivy-covered statues brought to life, while the other, the Cloven, are reclusive protectors of the natural world. #DnD #ttrpg #dnd5e #5e

Elves have mithral, Dwarves have adamantine, but the Cloven? They have greensteel. Practically weightless yet sharp as any blade, greensteel weapons are forged from the leaves of the greensteel tree, and tempered in furnaces that burn with magical fire.

Here's a look at one of our two new playable peoples in Rhenge: the Cloven. They are reclusive protectors of the natural world, as well as gifted craftspeople. Devout vegans, they forsake all animal products, and make their armor from intricately woven knotwork. #DnD #5e #ttrpg

In Rhenge, newly forged weapons are rare. Instead, heroes must rely on repurposed scrap or even everyday tools to defend themselves. Some, however, are lucky, and find ancient, masterly crafted weapons in the ruins of the Children of Marble. #DnD #ttrpg #dnd5e #5e
