BATMAN LITERALLY GOT THIS MAN KILLED BRO!! he forced this man to quit without any protection, and the next day this fucking dude is assassinated! what did batman say when he found out you ask?
Again, the writer is so good with communicating who characters are in as few lines as possible.
i absolutely love how carmines dialogue is written bro. like you know if Milo didn't have an answer he'd be fucking dead bro. dude comes off as powerful, elegant, and extremely dangerous. like a dude in control, but capable of extreme cruelty and violence
so batman and catwomen break into carmines house and get caught, but man, these panels. I get shivers, maybe i'm being to dramatic, but i could feel the cold righteous indignation.
In literally 2 pages this comic manages to completely give you harvey dents character. this interaction with bruce reveals his world view and motives. he believes the wealthy and social elite enable and are apart of the corruption. that no one is willing to do what needs doing
the fact that he immediately gets attacked is brilliant world and character builder. the goons know who harvey dent is. they know he's a cop, yet they straight up attack up because they KNOW they are above the law. like just from this scene alone you get how far gone Gotham is
this one is my favorite. wolverine literally gives her his blessing https://t.co/pENcP2YlJw
