Despite all of his great deeds, Wu Kong still held a great deal of hate in his heart. His thirst for battle and mischief continued to grow and with his new found immortality added to his already godlike strength no mortal or demon could hope to stop him.

After his great achievements in the last great war, Wu Kong was personally congratulated by the Jade Emperor himself.
As a reward for protecting the land He was given one of the fabled peaches of eternal life and made one of many of the Emperor's generals.
