There is no significance to the band on Tetsu's dread, it's just there to look cool

Tetsu gained his signature gi from a friend of his as a gift for joining the Time Patrol

Tetsu's hair was based on Hair Type 26 from XV2

Tetsu has 2 team members in the Time Patrol, one of them being a female majin named Noodle. The other is a young Frieza race named Sled who I have yet to reveal
