Of course, my Samsung 960 PRO NVME SSD still kicks the crap out of all three for speed. Not even a contest. This is why spinning rust is doomed.

The velociraptor does great compared to my old WD black from the same era. More than double the speed on small random reads and writes would have made a huge difference back then. As expected, my newer WD Gold does the best of the three, although just barely on random writes.
