Which rpgs best capture the feel, flavor, and tone of fairy tales? That sense of the wondrous and mythic. Or which aim to modernize the idea of fairy tales with a grittier or more grounded approach.

Sometimes you see a cover which just absolutely grabs your attention (see Cryptomancer and Crescendo of Violence). That’s the reaction I had to this, a game which Kickstarter last year and I honestly hadn’t heard of before.

The Apocalypse Keys ks is livegoing strong, and kicking down stretch goals-- this is an amazing game developed by @temporalhiccup. It has potent combination of PbtA, monster hunting, monsters hunting monsters, emotions, a great PbtA mystery system & the end of everything.
