🦀/♋️ season is associated with processing emotion, so I thought the crab would be a nice symbol for my feelings and how I’m trying to work with them in healthier ways in the wake of bad news.
I’m managing somewhat, and I hope you are too!

With the recent waves of bad news, I’ve tried letting myself have my feelings instead of burying them.

@queercryptidRey @gaybunnypunk @Flailmorpho_ Yes! It was a vision accessibility feature. Thank you for noticing.
Even now when we do lesbian flag pins based more on the others’ flag designs rather than my proposal, I mess with the colors to have readability thru value contrast, but not too much jarring saturation.
@GatoIshwary I actually spent 2 hrs trying to work it in before posting the polished rainbow+trans designs. Dark outlines muted the sense of illumination. I tried adding logs & a candle wick but it didn’t read well. Some designs lend themselves better to different versions of the pride flag.
Queer Joy has always persisted in the face of relentless oppression.
Queer Joy is what we’re fighting for.
We’re proud to be a part of that continuing legacy.

*taps the sign* For any astrology antis who pop up in my mentions about how the stars have moved and it isn’t scientific and so on:
We deserve to have fun and be silly! We deserve to take breaks! We deserve to celebrate queerness and read it into anything that brings us joy.
Queer Joy is what we’ve been fighting *for.*
