@JoshF618 If you think those were bad, you should start looking at the women's magazines that started to come out immediately post-war. Fifties food recipes and photographs take some beating.

Re-reading the first 60k words before I press on has allowed me to tie up a few loose ends. No major changes so far, except for the inclusion of a few subtle hints. Can't have the denouement come out of thin air now, can I? 🏳️‍🌈🇦🇺
