Brandon Thomas completely understands and loves Duke Thomas and Outsiders for who they are, and what they represent, and there will always be ongoing struggle in the path of being a great hero for Duke but, he doesn't have to face it alone, wonderful issue bro.
I want to witness a black original character's renaissance within DC comics, becuz iv'e been slowly burning out from dozens of legacy char's and to be real with myself, only few of them I actually CARE about.
But so far the legacy's are the way, cause no one is invested in OC's
I will try to be a bit more optimistic for the new era after Dark Crisis, and say "AT LEAST" 4 Blk characters are getting solos.
Which?? don't know, def have some Blk favorites but hopefully is the one's that are good and have been in limbo for a min.
It's crazy that DC has characters like the enigmatic and cool Bloodwyd and and the slick and superior Doctor Mist.
characters that have vast amount of potential, both have mysterious backgrounds that can be built up from ground zero, so many philosophies they could represent.
I noticed for a long time, in DC Comics there's not that much focus on cosmic characters within the DC Universe beyond the GL and other lantern Corps and maybe the LOS and new gods sometimes, but not enough that to fill in the space & use, so here's my own cosmic team of heroes!
Honestly, these characters right here should have some type of prevalence in DC, I just don't understand how they got dropped off in the shelf.
