@NibrocRock I know there is one Wave artwork with belly navel at some point, then they removed it in other version of the same drawing.
I dunno about other birds from comics like fleetway. Some may just be interpretation of the artist and not actual biologic fact.

Back in the 2000s I used to remember browsing Spaz's comic covers on SMC+ and was like "wow, these comics should have outstanding art inside".
Well, later in the years I found it wasn't like so, tho one issue had a SA2 inspired story and I was amazed by these pages.
