How has this happened

When making this I kinda didn't feel right about the lighting, so this morning I made this version in like 2 seconds and now i'm sad hors hours. I wish I used this version; it was soo easy to do and I think it looks a lot better ;0;

I've only really started drawing consistently relatively recently, but here's a redraw I done did! The image on the left is the first pony I ever drew and is probably 5 years old now! I found it in a dusty old binder in a random box
