Also a bit of Lumine from official artworks because she's so cute and her smile is so kind...
we all need to see it
That's all I wanted to tell you about the celebration. Hope you'll look forward to it as much as I do! Mond's the best❤️
Sharing is the best "thank you" for the thread~
Another tradition is the circus which often includes trained boars and magic tricks. Actors pretend to be magical spirits and tell tales to children
There are other games during Ludi. It's easier to say what games are not there as they have games from riddles (which Amber hates) to different kinds of active contests
Calm activities such as weaving flower crowns or making paper windmills/harpastum balls are also there!
When we're talking about Pile 'Em Up game, it's a game when you pile up food: the taller, the better
There's a legend: once the food tower fell and caused injuries + general damage. It took 3 days to finally clean up meat and vegetables, since then Ludi's held outside the city
One of the most popular dish (and a game at the same time) is Pile 'Em Up
Mihoyo posted a recipe of Diluc's special version but it's in Chinese. Tell me if you need a link though, maybe you can use google translate!
(or you can google fan-made recipes in different languages)
The most famous tradition's when a young lady throws a ball (harpastum) from Barbatos's statue in the crowd. The one who catches it seems to have a very fortunate year!
The knights make sure it's safe but.. this year Klee promised to make a harpastum-bomb. Good luck, Mondstadt!
Ludi Harpastum's a festival of games and joy, songs, wine and flight. It was made in commemoration of Barbatos but meant for everyone to enjoy.
Ludi Harpastum can be translated as the "festival of a ball game". Ludi means "public games/festival" and Harpastum's a Roman ball game
More about Ludi Harpastum!
It's practically confirmed that 1.6 will include the Ludi celebration. Here's a thread about its traditions as well about:
🍃what IS "Harpastum"
🍃why it's Noelle's "enemy"
🍃what made knights move Ludi outside the city

@dareka_yo I do! Even though I know him as Abyss Prince in my walkthrough and he's doing some... questionable stuff. But I believe in him and his kindness. Maybe he's brainwashed like Dvalin was
(personally, I think Lumine's eyes are rounder so she looks softer, but it's just an opinion)
