Johnny, one of Guadalupe's veteran male white sharks soaking up some sunshine near the surface.
The smaller fish (which is probably cropped out in the Twitter preview) is a mackerel scad, which are well-known photobombers at Guadalupe.
Put a little Doug in your heart.❤️
Emphasis on "little Doug" as opposed to when he overeats.

Seems like there's been an uptick in Tweets about cookie cutter sharks lately. Here are some examples of cookie cutter bites I've seen at Guadalupe in the past two years.
1. Scad mackerel
2 & 3. California yellowtail
4. White shark
#ThrowbackThursday 2015 - The first time I ever shared the water with The Legend, a very curious white shark. It had been a slow day in the water, in terms of shark activity, before this guy showed up, but he gave our cameras quite a workout for a good bit of the afternoon.
So, I found some previously unprocessed photos of "pregnant" Doug this weekend. Who wants to see one?
Don't wait for your ship to come in. Swim out to it...or underneath it in this case. #ThursdayThoughts
"Stacked" - What's better than seeing a great white shark? Seeing three in the same frame!… https://t.co/2Oj5zqHOa6
Here's a shot of the beautiful Tzitzimitl completely in the buff. #NationalSendANudeDay
