8) It’s the fun bit now! Fill in the whites with gel pen and white charcoal to make it pop!
7) Texturing and blending with coloured pencils. Don’t hatch just to hatch. Contour the shape of the object with it, think sculptural. Also useful for covering or softening minor to medium fuckups. 👍
5) Block out the first layer of shading. Evaluate. Keep in mind how much of a pain in the balls you’re prepared for this to be. If you go crazy on the detail in one area, you have to somewhat match it in the rest to a degree.
3) Inks. I use a ballpoint pen. I probably should not.
4) Flat markers, medium tone, more is less, let the paper shine through and light it. The E11 marker just shit the bed and blurred the line work. Try not to panic. Panic a lot.
