There's something funny about Falcom using images of each arc's poster boys and girls for their recruitment tweets as if they're actual the company's actual model employees.

It falls apart the more you look at it but I Tried™ at least.

until You come to me can't be considered canon, but I see it as khara acknowledging the "winter ending". The shot of Shinji looking at the falling snow with confusion and childlike wonders felt poignant, he was born in a world without winter, of course it felt alien to him.

It's probably unintentional, but interesting that NGE manga's final volume cover has a reincarnated Shinji standing in the middle of winter while in Shin Eva poster, we see a ghostly Shinji standing far away in summer daylight.
