I'd feel amiss if I made an influences thread without mentioning one of the all-time greats, Chuck Jones. And while I personally find him to be a wee bit overrated (don't shoot me for that, toon twt), I still completely acknowledge how important his work was for the industry

Stephen Hillenburg's SpongeBob is a huge influence in not only its visual style, but also it's comedy. This is easily one of my all-time favorite TV cartoons. It's absolutely brilliantly written and it's style is so appealing as well

Tex Avery is right up there with Clampett. His timing, characters, and expressions in his cartoons are absolutely incredible
