Caught up with the trades of Copra!
Very very cool comic, the kind of stuff you only really see in (largely) self published work. Scripting wise it starts out pretty bland, but over the series Fiffe starts getting more ambitious and trying new things
DC Comics existing in Copra makes the guy dressed like Deadshot kind of funny
If I had a nickel for every time Avu-chan was involved in a project that featured a father selling his son's body to a demon before he was born for power in centuries old Japan, I'd have two nickels
So much of this final batch of episodes is new and potentially interesting stuff, but then there's an equal amount of really redundant plots
Though I will say it shows how important strong lettering can be,. The sound effects are great ,but the word bubble lettering is distinct but a bit amateurish and affects readability, not a major issue, but just something I noticed
Copra is pretty cool so far
Definitely starts off feeling a bit unfocused but its picking up
You ever look at a character design and go "Oh people are going to do things to this one"
Read Fantastic Four: Season One by Aguirre-Sacasa and Marquez on a whim last night
It's a retelling of the first few issues of the series.
Also Doom has a let tiger in his one panel
