Thanks to @frankee_white for giving me to opportunity to read 20 Fists! It was not what I expected and so much more!
1) The art is great! Expressive, action packed and the coloring keeps up nicely!
2) Love on the battlefield is uh pretty messy.
Get orders in by 2/18! Questions?
I’m five pages into Aster of Pan and it’s cinematic and wonderful and I’m incredibly impressed. I’ll pay attention to the story after I get over the coloring and stylization.
I read Child Possession Services yesterday. It was dark, but the pun on CPS kind of cracked me up? Even the burnt out employee made me laugh, despite it not at all being a funny story. Maybe I found her to be relatable with her messy home, dislike of belly pudge and burn out.
Want a WWII ghost story? Read Cojacaru the Skinner!
Duplicant is Repo Man with a smooth, clean aesthetic and it's SO GOOD! I read a preview, so excited about it!
Helm Greycastle is a Latinx high fantasy adventure - heck yes!
Can love survive grave robbing in Modern Frankenstein?
Byte Sized #2: I don’t have kids, so I have no idea if Kate is acting like typical kiddos her age, but I think she’s FREAKING hilarious! Also LOVE the robot designs, and I’m really hoping they aren’t evil because they’re just so cute and I want ONE good thing in comics!
Kinda borrowing from @CBCCPodcast and their conversation about Virginia’s free will, I like that this family is called “The Visions of Virginia,” as her actions are pretty impactful. As are the kids’ actions, kids made partially with copies of her brainwaves.
Black Mask has a book coming out by Pat Shand called Destiny, NY, about Logan, a child of a magical prophecy who fulfilled her destiny at such a young age she's having a midlife crisis in her 20's! It's a coming-of-age story, but in the the most mystical of ways. 4/?

Oh my gosh, what a story. An unexpected mash-up which makes the story more poignant than expected. I remember Dorothy, Toto, the Tinman, Scarecrow and Lion; seeing them in war is gut wrenching. Ugh, I’ve got to take sometime to process this.
