Most of Akaza's story comes in threes.
- He is Upper Moon 3
- He has 3 strikes for 3 crimes, marked as tattoos
- He lost 3 people important to him
- Akaza is Buddhist and his themes largely come from 3 Universal Truths taught by Nichiren Buddhism
@ayme_karina Yeah! Usually the keiko-gi (the leaf patterned part) is long enough that it covers the thigh, or the cut in the side of the hakama (pants) is shallow enough. I’ve only seen the thigh peek as a fan service thing, like this

Day 76
Here is my #WeeklyGiyuu for this and last week!
I chose “gender expression” and “traditional clothing”.
I had him wear some Slovak folk dance clothes ❤️ They’re heavily based on mine.
This was hard work, but fun! I learned a lot about drawing skirts.

Day 75
I’m trying to relax more when I draw. It normally takes a long time because I’m always hitting the undo button, and I need to learn to just go with the flow when it’s supposed to be a sketch...
Still working on my bigger picture!
