Join us today from 2.30pm for the preview of Bronwen Sleigh's 'Cross Section', an exhibition of drawing and prints inspired by urban environments in Uganda, Canada and Scotland.

With mono printing you can simply ink up a flat surface with water-based inks, then manipulate the wet ink utilising various tools, without the need to use acid or other toxic substances. This was important to me, in order to make these prints more sustainable.

Initially I started making drypoint prints for this exhibition, however as lockdown forced GPS to close their workshop, I started making handprinted monotypes in my studio instead. Some of the early drypoint prints can still be viewed in the gallery browsers.
