Hi #VisibleWomen I'm a mexican vis dev artist/background painter based in LA. I'm currently looking for work in animation or games! I'm super inspired by my culture and love to do traditional art.

Back in 2006 when I used to white-wash myself on gaia online and give away my little drawings. That's the first Photoshop drawing I ever did, I used a mouse and it took me months to realize artists used graphic tablets to draw smooth lines. 😂
@sofiaealexander Hola Sofía!
Yo estoy haciendo color para un cómic sobre una superheroína latina llamada Santa creado por Kayden Phoenix. Los diseños y las tintas son de @evacabrera y están preciosos.

Sailormoon but make it Purépecha.
I also had to do this redraw.
Here's a couple of traditional paintings painted from the same view. Really grateful with @lolomansilla90 for buying the first one. 🥰
thanks for the tag! ✨🙌🏽

#pleinairpril day 4. Watercolor on cold press.
San Juan church in Michoacán. This church ended up buried in lava after the eruption of the volcano Paricutin. (One of the youngest volcanos in the world, it erupted from 1943 to 1952)
#pleinairpril day 3 watercolor and gouache on cold press paper. The National Park in my hometown Uruapan. I might have painted this scene around 4 times and it doesn't get easier haha
#pleinairpril day 2
My mom has a small anthurium greenhouse and she is sharing some of her babies with me during quarantine. Wish I could bring some of them back to LA with me. :'(
