@hibbary This isnt something I've done since I was a kid but I did recently redesign the Inu-Yasha self insert I made when I was 12. 😂 She's a half-dragon feral child.
@Touyarokii All I need are these boys cuz they become the best dragon.
@Tonya_Song I hesitated to respond since I'm not making art very actively right now but your mouse looks fun to draw so I'll throw my hat in the ring. Not sure if my art is Bluthy enough for you but he def influenced my style.
@NonsenseIsland There's so much attention to detail that I find it crazy that this is a series and not a feature film. There's even light rippling in the cube's shadow.
@alexriesart Nausicca could be described as a Mary Sue. If Hayao Miyazaki, one of the greatest storytellers of our time, has written a Mary Sue character then maybe it shouldn't be considered such a faux pas.
@StardustxDakota These kids are coming to save me, let's fuckin goooooo!! The episodes about it are gonna slap.
@OneMilFurries Imo pokemon have been following a similar trend. Newer pokemon are more complex in terms of concept and surface details but structurally have become cutesier and less realistic. Really it's been a design trend in anime across the board.
As much as I like Gammamon there's a certain physicality to older Digimon designs that I miss. That extra bit of anatomical detail that made them feel like a creature that could exist. Comparing Guilmon to Gammamon is like night and day.
