Today’s good father figures are The Yoshi’s from Yoshi’s Island! They took care of baby mario and went on a whole adventure to save baby luigi and reunite the brothers! They later took care of the entire mario crew after Kamek tried to kidnap them.

Todays good father figure is Piccolo from Dragon Ball! He takes care of Gohan while Goku is dead, teaches him to become stronger, and saves him from certain death at the hands of Vegeta! His methods may be tough but he truly cares about Gohan and wants him to succeed.
