Let's expand even further. Even the toads can be more unique. How did they fuck that up so hard when the other games did such a good job. Admittedly the first game didn't do as well with toad variety but man did TTYD shine there.

Let's expand on this one a bit with characters you fight. Even they are not only more visually unique but also unique characters to the series instead of just the Koopa Kids. The boss fights were lacking extra hard in the creativity.
