i really enjoyed doing this watercolor style for it, and it was really fun adding those crumples, rips, and stains to make it look like real paper

rampardos is based on a magical staff. it's smaller and faster than normal and fires energy blasts from its crystalline head
bastiodon is based on stained glass, mirror shields, and prisms, is capable of refracting special attacks

ive been planning on designing an entire roster of ultra beasts for the past year because aliens are cool!! figured id share some stuff i have so far, see if you can guess their names or what they're based on

just remembered these isaac boss concepts i did back in 2018, they were all variants themed after the afterbirth alt floors! i think about half of these were sprited from scratch, and the other half were edits of sprites from the game
