Further to Posts of Leonardo Da Vinci's 1515"Portrait of Francis I at 21 Years Bologna" further research among other Inscriptions revealed a beautifully rendered tiny Inscription at front of the Eye citing Sitter as "Leroy Francios" SEE GUIDE The word "Francios"can be discerned🧑‍🎨

Further to posts below we're pleased to advise as a result of research to have discovered among other Inscriptions a full small 1515 Date and autograph "LDV" Monogramme on the central Ear Lobe,confirming this as Leonardo Da Vinci's 1515"Bologna Portrait of Francicis I at 21Years"

Gerard Dou's 1672 "An Old Schoolmaster Cutting his Pen"
has the unique Distinction of also possessing his small 1672 "Self'-portrait Study" on its Corbel looking at the Viewer,with frail aged countenance & demise 3 years later 1675-Significantly further verifying his authorship🧑‍🎨
