Around the time I started drawing I was also heavily into roleplaying and my mate who was always the DM had all these books with great fantasy and sci-fi art that I'd thumb through. Amongst all the treasures that shaped and inspired me was the art of Chris Achilléos. RIP

Here's an example where I think I got it right. This is another acrylic scene painting and it is from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, a film I particularly adore. There isn't a lot going on in this painting but man doesn't it leave you thinking about the story behind it?
