#Eviternity by @Dragonfly_Doom may technically just be a MegaWAD of DOOM 2, but with all-new textures, music, enemies, etc. I consider it to be it's own game, much like Final DOOM. Since it's become my absolute favorite #DOOM, I think I'll go ahead and call it my 2019 GotY

The demo for #Harvestella on #NintendoSwitch is okay, but I really hope the MANY graphical errors and few awful translations don't make their way into the full release

It's also giving off some real Final Fantasy Explorers vibes which is such an underappreciated gem on the 3DS

I LOVE @WayForward's #Shantae so much, but I'd love to see the series branch off from Metroidvania into other genres.
My Shantae wish list is:

1: Misadventures of Tron Bonne-style Risky game

2: N64 era 3D Platformer/Collect-a-thon

3: Turn-Based RPG

4: Mario Party-style game

INFESTED DX🟣 fun fact:

The blue brick design found in the first area of the game is based on a similar design found throughout the space station in the Captain Sternn segment of Heavy Metal (1981).
I've always loved space castles and Infested is in effect "Shadowgate in space"

Adding more detail to the rooms while trying not to go overboard. I also added a button to the diagnostic machine [pic 2] cause I'm sure most players [understandably] didn't even know you could interact with it

Starship 5-A is orbiting a planet, designated "Pink Behemoth" and it's obsidian moon, designated "TAL-1-MAR", which are a direct reference to the Behemoth and it's summoner, the warlock lord, Talimar The Black, the final bosses of the original Shadowgate

Today marks the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite films of all-time, the Brazilian masterpiece, #CityOfGod (#CidadeDeDeus 🇧🇷).

This crime drama is damn near flawless and one of the greatest achievements in film history and one that @Criterion REALLY needs to pick up

@TheGorondorf I liked XCOM 1&2 well enough, but my favorite XCOM game is Rebelstar: Tactical Command of GBA 😁👍

I updated the planet while maintaining my admittedly odd use of shapes and spatial from the original. I think the original used vey harsh lines and color contrasts, so my new art is a little easier on the eyes
