@Cookiesneedlove @AspergersFox @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus Later parts still have occasionally characters with more obvious theme that connects to who they are, like Oyecomova with Boku no Rhythm wo Kiitekure where he looks like a weird cross of a tribeman and a Kiss band reject, he has that weird foreign to him
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus Stone Ocean had a lot of varied body types even with da "uwu same face" for main characters
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus Im glad he wanted to do a love letter to these in form of The Run becouse it lead him going with this approach. Josuke looks so beefy now compared to beggining lol
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus I really like Aishou, sweater king
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus It also had those sort of wilder designs that were there to just look cool. It was basically a transition from characters wearing normal clothes to them wearing those avangarde high fashion experimental clothing
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus Araki's old anatomy was just "im gonna draw a bunch of scribbles and bulges until it looks right" lol
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus Also props for him for learning how to draw muscles by the end of Part 3
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus I like how Axl Ro goes through the opposite of what Araki usually does, starting as a generic Jojo pretty boy and gaining more unique features as the fight goes on. Araki probably realised that if he's a war veteran he should be actually old
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus Jojolion also has cases of that, as I've said: Araki introducing character with more unique detailed design and simplifying it
@Cookiesneedlove @M1rzaWaQaS @hajnarus When he does his pretty faces nowadays, the feature diffrence is so minnimal that they automatically blend into his preset face after a while. It's less of an issue in his old old art becouse characters were more exagurated like wooo kakyoin has his frog lips and wide ass eyes
