JDS Yūgure DD-184 in about 1960 before refit (see later version of JDS Ariake DD-183). Formerly the Fletcher class destroyer USS Richard P Leary DD-664. Currently a premium ship on #WarThunder.

Finished the Fletcher hull redesign. Superstructure still WIP and trying some shading for 3D as the all blue MS21 paint scheme is very dark. My first Fletcher USS Cowell for comparison #NavalCraftWIP

Maybe MS12 modified camouflage is possible! Thank you everyone for the help, especially the chat on Discord. Great help. Now the hull is done, but the superstructure will be difficult... #NavalCraftWIP

Trying some camouflage schemes. This is MS 32a/22d for destroyer escorts. Anybody have a better way to show camouflage than using triangle plates? Any way to show curves? Showing MS 12 modified on a Fletcher seems impossible! #NavalCraftWIP

Little side project- Sub chasers. US SC-1 class, over 400 built during WW1. Some still serving in WW2. About as small as possible while keeping detail and diesel engine. Hard to balance buoyancy. Shown in original configuration. #NavalCraft

HIMJS Akizuki (秋月) destroyer. Completed in 1942 and shown in original configuration in Maizuru grey. This was a difficult build and 100% of block limit but lots of detail. I think light cruisers will be impossible! #NavalCraft

USS Sims and USS Benson on pre-war neutrality patrol. Few more destroyer and destroyer escort classes to build then will try again with cruisers! #NavalCraft

So here’s my Sims class destroyer. It’s DD-418 USS Roe after her 1943 refit in MS22 paint scheme. Same hull as the Fletcher class, just shorter and the same as Benson/Gleaves class.

My latest #NavalCraft ship build failed... Ran out of space so no masts, torpedoes or boats. Was supposed to be cruiser HMS Leander based on #WorldofWarships wiki 3d model. How do you keep the size down??? Going back to work on US destroyers, Sims class.
