Another interesting note, Hiroyuki Taguchi the artist behind SEGA's other Sega arcade title "The Ocean Hunter" was the character designer here. You can recognize his round shape heads and cat eyed style.

Finally finished scanning "The Key of Avalon" artbook, I gave a brief history about it and other SEGA card based arcade titles previously.
