I revamped my shading style to be a bit more simplistic for the sake of expediency (and also I was just Bad at trying to match the official style and I'd rather they look good than fail at being "accurate")

But the main thing here is LOOK THEY HAVE SHINIES NOW

I did these like a month ago but they were a Christmas gift so I couldn't post them until now, but here's a set of custom Pokemon card art I did for my friend @LibeartyComics and their family!!

Again, the actual design for Hisuian Voltorb is great, but considering the aesthetics of the Hisui Region, I think it would have been really cool to lean into its yokai origins and make it look more like a chochin-obake. Maybe make it Electric/Ghost or Fire/Ghost instead?

Okay so I really like Hisuian Voltorb looking like the older pokeballs, and having the grass typing since they'd be related to apricorns, but I gotta admit it's a missed opportunity not making them resemble Japanese paper lanterns

Finished commission for @Jax_Yacks ~ The autumnal colors were a lot of fun
