Orchid genetics are pretty opaque, so the genetic system in NOG is fictional (with an effort to reflect reality). Wide Bars comes from 1 barred gene + 1 marking gene that strengthens it, Barred is 2 barred genes, and Weak Bars is 1 barred gene + 1 marking gene that weakens it.
