8/ The eyeless design was inspired by the Hell Knights from Doom 2016, electronic musician The Satan, and a drawing by a RWBY R34 artist.

5/ Like the monsters from RWBY, Grimm was originally designed with a black body but I later changed him to dark blue to further separate myself from being associated with the series.
Other colours considered were dark brown, dark red, green, and even light purple.
