Export versions were made, but none of them were adopted. The manufacturer, Albastru-Electrice-Mikoyan, was unwilling to sell its product internationally.

A total of 231 aircrafts were produced worldwide counting carrier-capable versions and 3 prototypes.

The first prototype appeared in the 1991 Cinigrad Airshow with a striking scheme named 'Glory to the Motherland!' as a salute to the many fallen pilots during the Tyumen conflict.

Thanks to a much simpler design, the CFA-33 would be produced in larger numbers unlike the ADFs.

I'm back with another original Ace Combat design!

This one is the CFA-33 'Kolovrat', a Yuktobanian super-fighter developed as an answer to the X-02A.

The F-1004 Starfighter III is set as an ultra-high altitude interceptor with a top speed of M3.2.

It features 2 sets of intakes for 4 variable-cycle engines (2 on each side and placed vertically. )
