OTD Imam Baksh Nasikh died in 1838 in Lucknow.
He was born in 1775 at Faizabad. During his childhood, he came to Lucknow & learned Persian & Arabic. He was also fond of wrestling. He was inspired by Mir Taqi Mir & wanted to became his disciple but Mir refused!

#Onthisday 23 October, Anand Narain Mulla Lakhnavi was born in 1901. He was an Urdu poet and judge of Allahabad High Court. Mulla sahab was MP (Lok Sabha) from Lucknow from 1967-1970. ab aur is ke sivā chāhte ho kyā 'mullā'
