Grabbed the new RECKLESS book from Brubaker & @seanpphillips. Powerful and heartbreaking. I don't find a lotta new comics I really enjoy these days, but these two creators nail it every time. It holds a savage nobility that knifes you right in the guts. #ReadThisBook.

Just banged out 7 pages of a rough draft of an essay on my all-time favourite war comic. Probably a little heavy considering how the world feels right now, but honestly, it was a nice break to just engage with a well-made piece of art for a while.

Any single issue of Usagi Yojimbo is more interesting, human, compelling, and enlightening, than any Batman or Superman comic I have ever read, except for maybe some issues of HITMAN.

I see a lot of media where the reviews get hit by trolls, and it's like, that sucks, I'm sorry, but some of us still also disliked that piece of media for non-troll reasons and putting all critiques into the "bad faith" category does as much harm as negative troll reviews.

I can still remember being 17 and reading this for the first time. @MDHollingsworth colours still give me chills to this day. A singularly perfect page from the otherworldly talented Steve Dillion.♥️
