@brookeellenart I'm HOK. I make comics. My art tip: Don't use white. Save "white" for very tiny reflections and use a light grey as base color. My nemesis: A "quick sketch from the top of your head" (my con nightmare), I get full art block if I don't get at least a stick figure to trace a pose.
