Althea Murphy-Price creates her prints via photolithography, taking a photo exposure to capture information from the actual object and then translating it into a print. She has many print series, some of which you can view now in our exhibit, "Encounters: Althea Murphy-Price."

"Encounters: Althea Murphy-Price" opens in less than a week on Jan. 17! Murphy-Price utilizes synthetic hair in her works, revealing its false nature by melting it with heat and reshaping it into various configurations that are installed on pedestals and along gallery walls.
