#SinaUna: The Last Week: Monday
Our crowdfunding ends this week. As of typing this, we sit at 86%, and we have 3 days left. We'll be starting a new giveaway, rules at the bottom.
Can I tell you something funny?
These two pictures are supposed to depict the same monster.
And lastly, a giveaway with a fast turnaround, as I’ll select the two winners on Monday, the 21st! To enter, just follow me, like and retweet this thread.
And comment with something you love about D&D, be it a character, a story, or an aspect.
Oh, and what spell deck you want.
@gecczilla has done some of our monster art in the past, and is going to be doing more with us going forward. He does very beautiful feather detail work, as I'm sure any of you can agree, which I'm sure has him nervous to hear.
@lailanihan did our cover art for the book. She's a professional of just high caliber, and working with her has been the smoothest thing. She has a lot of side projects, and I insist you look at her artstation to look at other things she does: https://t.co/XCgtxRFnt2
@othermoons_art did the art for our goddess sisters, and will be finishing out the rest of our deities, which is a difficult task as deities in the animist sense is more convoluted than one might think.
#SinaUna: Artists and Writers and Giveaways (oh my)
So Sina Una is a 5e campaign setting based on precolonial Filipino mythology. Within its pages are the entirety of its world which contains 2 new classes, 12 subclasses, 30+ monsters, 20+ spells, and 10+ magic items.
#SinaUna: Headhunters and Savagery
So one of the big words that are a big no from us on the Sina Una team is the word savage. It was used as a means to justify culture revision. Why let someone stay ignorant, when you could teach them better?
But this has dire consequences.
#SinaUna: Death and Sensationalism
When we started working on this book I had this nagging feeling in the back of my head in regards to how I was going to talk about this book to people, and it grew into a concern.
I'd like to talk about this concern in the context of death.
