Hello again. I was posting whimsical pictures before I went for lunch I’ll carry on with the ones I planned. This is a charming Watercolour that tells a story in itself. Russian artist Anna Speshilova .
‘Winter’ by Elisabeth Sonrel (1874- 1953, French). Beautifully detailed work from this artist, I normally post our lady of the Cow Parsley but it’s a shame to miss out on her others
Another winner here with a nod to Don Quixote and the Windmill tilter, this is by Tomasz Setowski ‘ Dream Hunter ‘
Don’t worry, this is a one off. Christmas cancelled until December but I’ll lose this if I don’t post it. Margaret Tarrant (1888-1959) The Brownie’s Christmas Card. I was a Brown Owl once and I loved this .
Clare Allan works in Charcoal and coloured Pastels. Derbyshire is where she lives and her pictures are places that interest her. Apparently this was a commission. Love it.
James McIntosh Patrick again ‘The Old Toll’ title. A clear crisp painting.
An Autumn print by Lois Van Baarle who hails from Holland. She’s a freelance digital artist and I’ve just noticed she’s on Twitter @loishh
I’m going for a break now. Back after lunch. Thanks for looking Helenl🍁📚📚📚
Another darkly brooding painting Aleksei Savrasov is the artist. There are always paintings I want to post that are in a language i don’t speak
Found the name for this quite easily....phew
Hopefully this will be me for my nap soon..! This is so pretty Anne Yvonne Gilbert ‘The Wild Swans’. I’ll be back after tea.
Nearly finished ‘The Lying Room’ by Nicci French . Beautifully written as always and as good as the Frieda Klein series
