The weather that Mr Scholes captures so well in his fab paintings. Steven Scholes has mastered the art of nostalgia perfectly in his work. ‘Albert Square ‘ Manchester. 😊
Rowland Hilder (1905-93) Watercolour Landscape here and in fact most of his work was just this subject. Deemed a little unfashionable these days I am sure he will be popular again in the future as he used colours fit a modern interior.
This is good fun if it doesn’t send you bonkers. All those beady eyes. The Illustrator is Louis Thomas. Not quite sure what the numbers are all about.
I’ve posted this artist’s work before but not the ‘Travelling Worm’ more adventurous than the hungry caterpillar. Kestutis Kasparavicius Lithuanian artist whose bio photo is charming. He’s a smiley artist. 😊
‘The Night Ferry’ by Christopher Cyr. I’ve not seen his work before and so I looked him up...He’s an award winning freelance Illustrator. I think he’s an interesting ‘one to watch’.
I’m going for tea soon and hungry too.
This is a lovely painting by Graham Twyford. He’s a Lake District painter whose work is worth perusal . I keep this in my photo stream as it’s so evocative.
Probably the wrong time of year for this but it gave me a bit of hope to see some potting up taking place...
Louise Jewell is the Illustrator.
