Sarah Raphael-Balme isn’t a new painter to me I don’t often post though I am a fan of what she does
Her work plays with colour and pattern and she looks at a lot of art for inspiration. I see a lot of art too and I get inspired and excited if I find something I like
John Millais upset some of his fellow Pre Raphaelites when he decided to use his work for a soap advertisements, the little boy blowing ‘bubbles ‘ The title for ‘Pears Soap’ .
1) Miss Muffet
2)Going down ‘Cherry Ripe’
3)’Bubbles’
4)’Ducklings’
These have lots of appeal
Polish painter Tomasz Alen Kopera here.
Challenging, maybe but I’ve not seen any work like it and i do see a lot of art
Probably best not to think too hard but just enjoy how beautiful it is .
Good Morning Everyone
Helen Parsley English painter. ( Manchester) begins our day. These four show how diverse her paintings are. The Autumn ones are so beautiful

Good Morning Everyone
Wow, such a great way to begin our arty day. The first one , the boat is a William de Morgan tile and the fourth. ‘Fantastic Dragons’ is also by William de Morgan(1839-1917 ) friend of William Morris (1834-1896) the designer of the other tiles here
Kate Lycett is a favourite painter of mine. She used to be a textile designer and I think you can tell that in her beautiful paintings. I’ve chosen two that represent the season well
Helen Parsley again. She is so versatile.
Typical , lunch has beaten me. Back later. Helen😊🍁
Lovely dog here, bet he is loyal to his mistress . ‘Lady with Dog’ by Sergius Pauser Austrian artist (1897-1970) (Fox Terrier). Her gaze is a direct one and she has a cigarette. No one seems to smoke these days. We don’t.
