I thought this painter was new to me, he’s not but I haven’t posted this before Walther Firle (1859-1929) Polish born German artist. He painted dark scenes with unique sources of light. Oh yes, exactly right
With a background rooted in the textile industry Kate Lycett fits in well in Hebden Bridge as it was once called ‘Trouser Town’ I love all her paintings the first one being set in Whitby.

Thought I’d better show some more of these from the Telegramme Paper Co . I like the style and designs, and they seem to have had a lot of commissions.
These four were commissions. Series of prints to be displayed in hotel rooms in Baku Azerbaijan. The Telegramme Paper Company based in London. Now they ARE new to me. I’ve looked them up and they have had lots of commissions,..similar colours and Art Deco style
