There have been quite a few Illustrators today
Paul Thurlby created these. Originally from Nottingham and now living in Brighton. He’s won many awards . Clients include John Lewis , Pimms, The French Tourist Board, The New Yorker The Bank of England ….etc. Handsome too.

The final ‘ Recovering Classics. These really are classics
Firstly. ‘ The Time Machine’ by HG Wells. Recovered with new cover by Jon Cain. The second here Edgar Allan Poe cover by Adam S Doyle….

I took these two paintings down because I love fabrics and the sheen on the satin was irresistible. The second painting with a black and white stripe is especially nice. American painter. (Charleston)

Cecil Aldin (1870-1935)
British artist and Illustrator.
Dogs and rural life were his favourites, dog and pony shows he loved organising. The death of his only son Dudley in WWl affected him badly
I know his work through selling books with his illustrations

Surrealist painter who was born raised and educated in Russia now he lives and has a gallery in Maui Hawaii ( no wonder he looked so tanned in his photo )He’s also a sculptor and Jewellery designer as well as artist

No need to look up the spelling my spellcheck knows his name he’s a fave Illustrator.
Makes me smile this Lithuanian Illustrator. The cuckoo clock with the cuckoo in his hat making him look important.
